I'll get right to the point.
1x1 cold emailing is alive again. And it's working really, really well.
In this particular test...
I reached out to a few revenue leaders with "baseball" listed on their LinkedIn.
(For background, I played in college and still love the sport).
I wrote a few emails like this. I think 5, to be specific.
Two meetings. Three non-responses. A 40% conversion rate!
While I realize the argument against this strategy will be: "what if the leader just wants the tickets, and isn't actually interested in buying?"
My response is simple: the job of the cold email is to get the prospect on the phone, nothing more.
Once they are on the phone, it's the job of the seller to build rapport and their company to give them a value proposition that actually converts at a high enough clip.
Job #1 is getting at-bats. And this strategy is an easy way to do this without spending a penny on a cold email agency. Or thousands of dollars on complicated tech tools.
One note: if you don't have the time/desire to do this work, we are standing up a service to run this workflow for clients at our same $999/month base cost + an agreed upon per meeting bonus.
If you're interested, I'd be happy to connect with you on how it will work.
My calendar link is here.
Happy selling,
Miles
